I guess now is the time for me to show everyone my dress for the Valentine's Ball like everyone else. And in case anyone didn't know, I've been asked to attend with Albus Potter! It was sort of unexpected and spur of the moment sort of thing but I said yes. We're good friends and it seemed like a good idea to me. Anyways, one of the reasons I'm most excited is that I'm hoping that this ball will serve as an alleviator for the rest of the school all what with the certain tension and animosity taking place with O.W.L.S, N.E.W.T.S, and finals but also with the current quarrels taking place over various things.
NOTE: Albus! You aren't allowed to see my dress yet, it's going to be a surprise, sorry!

If you all haven't noticed by now my hair is officially blue.
Yesterday, after catching a pair of fourth years hurling stink bombs and ever-bashing boomerangs at a crowd of first years and giving them detentions, they had gotten very cross with me and decided to use a colour changing spell when I had turned my back. The spell hadn't actually started to show until the next morning when I woke up and started getting my things all around and looked in the mirror only to find that I had shockingly bright blue hair! At first, I was completely and utterly furious. I was almost tempted to play sick just so I wouldn't have to endure all the giggles and whispering. I even had some of my dormmates try numerous counter spells but it seems to have some sort of time limit on it and won't go away until it's taken it's course. I assume it won't be long before it wears out but instead of hiding it, I've decided to embrace my new hair on account that, coincidentally, today is the first Quidditch game of the season against Slytherin! So, if you see a bobbling blue head in the corridors, it's most likely me!
